Meet Doochy Goochy. He was the very hungry caterpillar that John Wells and Charles watched change into a butterfly. We've always loved the Eric Carle book so the boys were so excited when a neighbor of ours, who found the caterpillar eating all her parsley, brought it over. The boys fed the him for about a week, and then saw it form a chrysalis. Today we found a butterfly instead of a caterpillar, and when the boys got home from school they set him free. Charles says he went to find his mommy and daddy. John wells just says, "Butterfly gone..."
